Cube Description:

This cube contains counts of patron records only for patrons that have an active barcode on TRELLIS. Only patron records whose expiry date is greater than one year before the cube was built are included. There are separate measures for counting by statistical category. It is important to remember that counts by statistical category can be misleading as one patron can belong to multiple statistical categories.

Description

Patron Count

A count of patron records which have an active barcode and have not expired more than 1 year before the cube was built.

Email Address Count

A count of patron records with email addresses. A patron can only have one email address.

Temp Address Count

A count of temporary addresses. A patron can have multiple temporary addresses or none.

Patron (affiliation)

A count of patrons who have a statistical category which indicates the institution they are affiliated with including reciprocal borrowing institutions and college affiliations.

Patron (type)

A count of patrons who have a patron statistical category assigned which identifies patron type. e.g. Faculty, Undergraduate, High School

Patron (faculty/dept)

A count of patrons who have a patron statistical category which indicates the faculty or department the student is associated with.

Patron (other)

A count of patrons that have a patron statistical category which is not an affiliation, type or faculty/dept category.

Charges+Renewals (by statistical)

A count of charge and renewal transactions by statistical category. Because a patron record can be associated with multiple statistical categories or none, these statistics should be used cautiously and only when the dimension "All Patron Statistical" (or one of its dimension levels) is included as a row, column, layer or filter.

A count of charge transactions by statistical category. Because a patron record can be associated with multiple statistical categories or none, these statistics should be used cautiously and only when the dimension "All Patron Statistical" (or one of its dimension levels) is included as a row, column, layer or filter.

Renewals (by statistical)

A count of renewal transactions by statistical category. Because a patron record can be associated with multiple statistical categories or none, these statistics should be used cautiously and only when the dimension "All Patron Statistical" (or one of its dimension levels) is included as a row, column, layer or filter.

Year

The date the patron record, charge transaction, fine fee or fine transaction was created. Years are fiscal years from May 1 to April 30. The year indicates the last year in the fiscal period. e.g. 2001 covers May 1, 2000 to April 30, 2001.
