Report Description:

This suite of reports is used to produce notices that are mailed to patrons to notify them that their marks are being withheld because of outstanding fines. The marks withhold ids.imr is first run. This report reads an excel file maintained on the Q: drive which contains ID numbers of patrons who have already received notices. The report must be saved as a "hot file" or .ims file on the Q: drive. Procedural documentation for these reports is found in a Word document on the Q: drive at UW.

Prompt	Type	Description
Include patrons with fines >	Type in	Enter the lowest fine total owing to include on the report
Select one or more patron groups to include:	Picklist	Select the patron group(s) to include in the report
Select one or more statistical categories to include:	Picklist	Select the patron statistical category(s) to include in the report
Enter institution name for report header:	Type in	The name entered here will be printed at the top of each marks withhold notice

Filters:

patron fines balance owing > the amount entered in the first prompt

patron group equals one of the selected groups

patron statistical category equals one of the selected categories

patron id number not equal to the patron id numbers in the excel spreadsheet

Sort Order:

patron id number

Patron Id number
Patron address (the report will use an active temporary address first, otherwise the permanent address is used - addresses with a hold are not used so there may be notices printed with no address)
Assessed fine amount
Fine balance
Fine reason
Fine date
Title (not included on the "marks_withhold_no_items.imr" report)
Call number (not included on the "marks_withhold_no_items.imr" report)

Important Notes:

This set of reports cannot be run on the web server. They must be run on the desktop client.
