Report Description:

The weeding list.imr report will list the items in the location specified in the location prompt with item use less than the number specified in the item use prompt where the publisher date is less than the date specified in the publisher date prompt.

The Weeding_list(by_date_LC).imr report lists items based on the specified location, item type(s), item use, publication date, LC class range and item create date range. Only the LC Class portion of the call number can be used for the start and end range.

Prompt	Type	Description
Choose location codes that start with:	Type in	Enter the start characters of the location codes that you want to choose from
Select a location	Pick list	Select a location from the dropdown list
Select records with use < ?	Type in	Enter the use value to select (default is 5)
Select records with publisher date < ?	Type in	Enter the publisher date cutoff (default is 1990)
Select item type(s) for report:	Pick list	Select one or more item types from the dropdown list (this prompt only appears for weeding_list(by_date_LC))
Enter start LC Class to include(e.g. HB or QA):	Type in	Enter the LC Class only of the call number for the start of the range of call numbers to include (default is "A") (this prompt only appears for weeding_list(by_date_LC))
Enter end LC Class:	Type in	Enter the LC Class only of the call number for the end of the range of call numbers to include (default is "ZZ") (this prompt only appears for weeding_list(by_date_LC))
Enter Start date (yyyy-mm-dd)	Type in	Enter the start date for the range of item create dates to include in the report (to include all item create dates enter 1998-04-01) (this prompt only appears for weeding_list(by_date_LC))
Enter end date (yyyy-mm-dd)	Type in	Enter the end date for the range of item create dates to include in the report (to include all item create dates enter today's date) (this prompt only appears for weeding_list(by_date_LC))

Data Elements:

Call number (for the

weeding_list(by_date_LC) if there is a storage number it replaces the call number)

Item barcode

Title

Series title

Use (total item use including Geac for UW items)

Publisher date

Additional data elements that are not printed on the PDF report format but are included in Excel and Delimited text format for the weeding_list(by_date_LC) report include

Author
Imprint
Storage number

Filters:

Item location equals location selected in the location prompt

Item use less than number entered in the use prompt

Publisher date less than the date entered in the date prompt

OPAC suppressed flag equals N

The following filters only apply to weeding_list(by_date_LC) in addition to the filters listed above

Item type equals one of the item types selected in the item type prompt
LC Class is between the start and end LC Class specified in the prompts
Item create date is between the start and end dates specified in the prompts

Sort Order:

Call Number (ascending) (if the location selected is an Annex location the sort is by storage number)
