   • Develops and responds to proposals for TUG approaches to digital initiatives and collection maintenance projects that achieve harmonized policies and practices
   • Plan the management of Annex collections at a strategic level

   • Develop and implement common cataloguing policies as new issues arise.

3. Verde Operators' Group (TUG VOP) - replaces the former TUG Electronic Journals Group whose mandate was to Co-ordinate the acquisition of electronic journals and access of those journals through a searchable Web interface.

   • Provides a forum to share information about how to effectively use Verde
   • A forum to share techniques for effectively using Verde and, where needed, develop procedure and policy documents for maintaining and adding information to Verde
   • Investigate other opportunities for sharing the work of inputting common data into Verde.

4. TUG Interlibrary Loan / Document Delivery

   • Co-ordinates the acquisition of electronic journals and access of those journals through a searchable Web interface
   • Interpret ILL Borrowing and Lending policies and practices
   • Prototype and develop TUG-wide solutions to ILL issues
   • Provide statistics to reporting agencies

5. TUG Materials Acquisitions Managers
   Members: Linda DaMaren (UG), Helen Sagi (WLU), Gail Sperling (Resource Specialist UW), Debbie Tytko (UW)
   Mandate: Standing
   
   
   • Provide a forum for the sharing of information and techniques; address common issues and concerns within the Acquisitions module
   • Ensure audit and fiscal responsibility when linking payments to all types of materials (received and purchased)
   • Plan fiscal period close (year-end budget rollover) and review reports to verify results
   • Prototype upgrades and respond to changes in system activities
