Guiding Principles for the Development of TUG Policies and Practices
1. Facilitate easy and confusion free access to services and collections at all TUG libraries through a uniform set of policies and practice.
2. Strive for policies/practices that are simple and straightforward.
3. Recognise that, for reasons of history, local culture and differences in philosophy there may be some practices/policies on which uniformity is not possible or desirable, at least for the short term.
4. Respect diversity and local needs.
